And it is worth doing, it increases your tax free allowance, myne has just risen to 13830 for this year.

May not be a lot to some but it's free money.

It's totally outrageous that the UK government not only expects pensioners to exist on a pension which is below the poverty line but also then decides to claw back some of the pittance they receive in the form of income tax.  Somehow, though, I doubt that Labour will change anything when/if they win an election....

For me the only difference between them is the colour of their banner.

I used to be all in red but they parrot similar to what the blue team say.

I just hope it's only to win votes and they are still standing for the workers but I doubt it from what I'm seeing.

As  a  friend   of mine  pointed  out (he gets this comment praise). As it  stands and based on  37hours .According to  our government,  the MINIMUM LIVING WAGE is £385.54 per week. THE OAP MAXIMUM IS £203.85.  The point  is the  pension  should match the MINIMUM  LIVING WAGE!!.Hence   the   OAP PENSION should   be  the same per week £385.54 to live....
