@junaydcheriti Hello Junayd,

I believe it is totally normal and expected to apply as an unemployed person. All of us had to quit our current jobs at one point through the Single Permit/ Visa Process.

Your wife's new contract in Belgium serves as her proof for financial sustainability.

The worst case scenario would be that the embassy ask her to bring one or two thousand euros with her on her entry trip.

Best of luck for both of you!

P.S: Could you please reshare your wife's SP timeline on the "Single Permit Processing - 2024" thread?

It would be really reassuring for the thread followers to learn that the immigration office has now started treating cases past the end of year holidays. Thanks and Have a nice day!
