Hello, Im new here, but not to Perth.

Im originally from Connecticut, USA. After working for a brief stint in the UK, I moved to Perth in December 2000. Just in time to have my first 40 degree Christmas. I still remember sitting in the shade feeling like my brain was melting. ;-)

Im married to an Australian woman, and have two young children.

Im a self-professed professional nerd I work in the CBD in one of the consultancy services. While Id like to think that Im friendly and fairly easy to get along with, Ive never been very out going so making friends has always proven a challenge. Hmmm this is starting to sound like a singles add!

Im always interested in hearing from others who have relocated here, have coffee, friendly chat. Talk about the challenges of picking up your entire life and moving to a different country and culture.
