Hello everyone, I am new to this Forum. I am moving to France this Saturday, staying with a friend in Rethel and looking to rent in Brittany or Normandy. I am driving over in my UK car. I have a one-year long stay work visa the I hope to renew at the end of that year. My visa is an automatic resident's permit. I have no idea what to do about my car as I've looked online and the information is conflicting. Any help gratefully received. From my research I appear to have . . . six months grace running a car in France . . . and/or I need to register my car within one month of arrival if I am a resident . . . but I can find no information pertaining to someone coming on a one-year visa.
