Client - Consultant Firm - Visa Sponsor - Me

Hi All,

Im in a pickle. In 2020 when I switched from my Indian employer, I took an offer with a consultant firm. Let’s call them John Agency. But they do not sponsor work permits. They have a middle man company who does this for me. Rachel Agency. So I’m technically getting paid by the Rachel Agency.

this was the setup at client one.

now I’m at client two.

I’m tired of this setup because there are not a lot of benefits from the Rachel Agency, just salary and insurance.

im at client 2 now and there is another consultant firm (Sam Agency) willing to take me (possibly) and put me in my same client back. They are the company of my co-worker.

but how do I remove myself from my current position.

• I should resign to John Agency AND my Rachel Agency or only Rachel Agency?
• I have a non compete clause that states employees of Rachel Agency, after quitting shouldn’t work for clients of John Agency for 1 year. Will this be enforced cause I’m not even going to be with Rachel Agency anymore.
