KSA Endorsed Lapsed Family Visa Cancellation required or not

Hello Members,

My family visa was issued and got endorsed from VFS, however, due to certain issues my family could not travel and the visa validity got lapsed. So do i need to cancel this visa before applying for a new family visa ? If yes what is the procedure and any leads will be of great help.
