Yohh

According to gov site, as long as visit is no more than 6 months, can extend up to 6 months.

Just like to confirm as my below situation;

- tourist visa granted from 1 feb to 1 aug

- I only entered uk from 1st april so if i stay until 1 aug, it will be 4 months only.

- am i eligible to extend?

- i heard normal processing time is 8 weeks and there is fast track service, with fast trick, how fast can i get result?

I am just scared my extension processing is still in progress upon my expiry date.

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

The visa extensions you refer to are for specific reasons; you can read them on the UK Gov website at this link.  You can apply for up to a 10-year visa, but can only physically be in the UK for 6 months in any 12-month period, they are expensive in comparison to a 6-month visa and cannot be extended.

I hope this helps.
