Hi guys,

I have applied for naturalization and submitted the required documents but yesterday I have received a message from the Policia Federal requesting me to submit a "CERTIDÃO DE ANTECEDENTES CRIMINAIS DA JUSTIÇA FEDERAL 2ª REGIÃO" which I thought I have already submitted.

I was told by the cartorio that the new rules was to apply online which I did from this site: https://www4.tjrj.jus.br/portal-extrajudicial/certidao

Anyone here know where to get this document? I applied in Rio de Janeiro.

06/29/24 @Duroman.  The site you referenced is for the courtsof the State of Rio de Janeiro, not the Regional Federal Tribunal for the 2nd Region.  Try this one:

Thanks a lot abthree, I have downloaded this document from the link that you provided which seems correct.

06/30/24 @Duroman  I'm glad that it worked for you.  It can get confusing at the best of times, and I've noticed in other cases that Rio de Janeiro state courts and Second Region federal courts seem to complicate it more than some others do.

Hello everyone can someone pls help me with naturalization application. I am trying to apply police Clearance certificate but I don't know if I have to apply for state and city or state and country. And if someone can share the link to apply for it will be a great help.

I live in Santo André, São Paulo.

Need help with the link to apply for police Clearance certificate for naturalization 🙏

I   think you need to get the the federal police at your resident area

07/23/24 @Shahbaz Sheikh786.  You can request your federal certidão here:

https://web.trf3.jus.br/certidao-regional/

You can request your state certidão here:

https://www.tjsp.jus.br/Certidoes/Certi … aInstancia

You'll probably want the Certidão de Distribuição de Ações Criminais

@abthree thank you for the links. Just to be sure it's just this 2 I have to apply for or also on this link from the federal police

Other members have been finding that the Certidões issued by the Federal Police are being rejected (by the Federal Police!) in favor of Certidões from the Poder Judiciário at the state and federal level.  The links that I sent you above are for those for São Paulo.

So this page explains exactly which 2 forms you need:

I already posted this in a different thread 2 months ago but the link has been under review ever since. That's the thread Shabaz is referring to, which contains some outdated information now:
