Travel during 'Application for residence'

Arnie Barnie

I am a British Passport holder, received 'temporary authorisation to work' and subsequently commenced new employment.

Jobsplus has been updated and I am awaiting collection of my new ID Card.

Would I be able to travel and return to Malta while the ID Card is not finalised?

If you have your passport, I can't see a reason why you wouldn't be allowed to travel.

Where were you planning on traveling to?

@Arnie Barnie  Were you given a paper copy of your residence card  (ID card)?

As you can show this to anyone who needs to see your card.

@Arnie Barnie as a UK passport holder you can travel in/out of the schengen area as long as you have kept within the 90day within last 180days. Here is a link to a useful calculator. https://ec.europa.eu/assets/home/visa-c … ang=enHope this helps?
