Least expensive way to get Kuwait Medical test for UK expat?

I live in India, but I'm from the UK. I just received an offer for employment in Kuwait, but the expense of getting there is killing me. Around 2500 pounds to fly back and get everything done plus the room and board, Arco police certificate, Kuwait visa, etc, etc.

Does anyone know if there's a way to cut costs? For example, could I have my medical done in India, then fly back to the UK for everything else? It's about $60 USD here. Big difference compared to 500 pounds in the UK.
