Health and care visa

Hello there,

I am offered a pharmacist role in GP surgery in england for 30 hours a week.

Can anyone please advice me on how to know if the job hit the minimum salary requirement?

I checked on NHS agenda of change, the minimum salary for band 6 pharmacist is £35392 pro rata 37.5 hours. Do I just need to make that if my salary will be above this equal salary to 30 hours(35392 times 30 hours divided by 37.5 hours)?

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

I'm a bit confused by your question.  GP surgeries are contractors to the NHS and don't pay NHS levels of salaries, they are specifically exempt from doing so.  If you specifically want to work for the NHS, then I would recommend you start at the NHS website on the subject of employing overseas qualified pharmacists; this link will take you straight to it.  The salary you are quoting does not meet the minimum standard for a Skilled Worker Visa (£38,700).

Further, be very careful about scammers, we have seen instances of people being duped into paying fees to get jobs in the NHS, this is never the case.

I hope this helps.
