Hi all -

I hope someone can help me as the relevant HMPO webpages are simply not clear.

Can a British citizen renew a British passport while in Morocco on a 90-day tourist visa?

Thanks in advance!

The British Embassy in Rabat and the Honorary Consulate in Marrakech in Morocco both provide consular support for British nationals living in and visiting the country. You can contact the British consulate in the UK by calling +44 (0)20 7008 5000 and selecting the option for consular services for British nationals.

Yes, I managed to find the numbers and webpages, etc., but they never answer the phone and the webpages lack clarity. The UK government only seems to exist to spread propaganda about the Ukraine and Bellendsky. British citizens can go to hell, it appears.

My question is simple and is this: Can a British citizen renew their (adult, 10-year) British passport in Morocco *while on a 90-day tourist visa*?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Bill, I know US citizens can but I have no idea about UK. I believe the best help you can get is from the Embassy/Consulate... and if they do not reply by email or phone, then I highly suggest to visit them in person during office hours.

Once your application for a new British Passport has been made in Rabat Takes approximately 6 weeks to  get the new one back.

If needed you could leave the country and come back same day maybe go to Meillia/Spain and get 90 days more.

90 days will be plenty thats like 10 weeks.
