I went and had a great time. No English for weeks and smiles for miles and miles with everyone. No issues traveling at all. Loved it so much I’m returning for two months next trip. Everybody happy in the region I traveled. I’m a sober traveler and if there was any issues it was only that I do not drink. I want to thank all on this forum again for helping me when I did not know anything and was nervous going there. Each step I got enough information to make a solo trip comfortable. Flights are sky high Dec - Feb from USA just a heads up.

You'll want to be careful with the number of times you visit. Vietnam can be very addictive
