hi there... can I ask you guys if it is true or not...I have a friend she's now a housemaid... and after her contract finish... she want to work outside (release her by employer ) and find a new job ( not housemaid )... so my question now... her visa is still housemaid visa... if she can find a job... can her new employer transfer her visa from housemaid visa to skill/ work visa?

As of now the process has changed by a bit. There is no need for the employer to go to the LMRA and give consent or anything. Housemaid visa have been changed via LMRA Website. The Sponsor needs to login using credentials and apply for cancellation, and pay the fees.


After that new sponsor should apply the visa and get it approved before 30 days.
