Can you live in Morocco as signle divorced woman with 2 chdilren

Hi,

I am Arabic / British born, I divorced my Brit husband and I am happy single. Recently I visited Morocco and loved it so much. I was a tourist, so things were nice and organised, of course there were lots of possiblilities of getting scammed, people thought I was rich just because I was a tourist. I wanted to scream that I worked for every penny they're trying to get from me. BUT, there's something wonderful about Morocco and I love it.

so, I dream of living there somehow. If I were to apply for mortgage from UK, and buy property in Marrakesh, do you know what life will be like for me as a single Arab woman in her 50s? I mean will there be scams, disrespect? Will I be abl eto buy a property legally? Will I be harassed in my street? Will other women and families accept me as a signle divorced woman with 2 children? Will I be banished from places? Will people stop talking to me when they find out I am divorced? Will I be abl eto make friends who respect my choices?

Whenever I think of making a plan to live there, I get scared of how I will be treated as a divorced woman. Would love to hear advice and perspective of Moroccan men and women on this, and anyone who lives in Morocco and has expereinced divorce.
