Hello,

I am dutch and just moved from France (where we lived for 10 years) to Casablanca and didn't take anything. Electrical appliances are not expensive here, about the same as in europe. I have found a washing machine 2500 Dhs, Fridge 3500DH and stove plus oven for 2500 DHs. You have to know the right places and preferably go with a morrocan or prices will triple....
Couches and other furniture can be made locally and is not expensive at all. You can also buy imported couches and then you can find a 2 and 3 seater for 600/700 Euros. So in my opinion it is not worth the shipping.

I am actually looking around myself because we will soon be moving to an empty appartment, so I am doing my research now ;-)

Good luck with the move!

Gilen
