Help! Family Reunification with an EU Citizen

Hi everyone, how are you doing?

I’ll try to be direct. I’m Brazilian, and my girlfriend is also Brazilian and an EU citizen (Portuguese). We’ve been living together here in Brazil, and she has been my girlfriend for 6 years. She is close to getting a job in Belgium and will probably move in December or January. We are planning to apply for a Family Reunification visa, but we have a lot of questions about the process.

Next week, we are planning to get married because I think it will make it easier to obtain the Family Reunification visa.

So my questions are:

1 - Financial: She will earn around 3.5k Euros per month. Is her salary enough to meet the financial requirements? Even with her working, do we need to have money in a bank account? If so, how much?

2 - Documents: As I mentioned, we will marry next week. Our plan is to get married here in Brazil and then move to Belgium with our marriage certificate apostilled by The Hague. Is this sufficient, or do we need additional documentation to prove our relationship?

3 - Residence: I’ve researched and seen that some communes accept an Airbnb address for issuing a Family Reunification visa. Is this true? If so, which communes do this? I’m asking because to rent a house, my girlfriend needs three months of pay slips, which is a long time and may be an obstacle for the visa process.

Thank you very much!
