Hello,

I am planning to fly one way to KL, stay for a couple of weeks then by train up to Thailand to meet a friend.

Would one way air ticket cause any issues at the border control (from Europe to MY)?

I guess you should pre-book your train ticket and show the proof to immigration that you will leave the country.
