KL 5K salary: enough for a single guy ?

Hi everyone, I got an offer for 5000MYR (gross) in Kuala Lumpur, curious to know if that would be enough to live on..

I have less than 5 years working experience, currently in my home country I earn about 10 250MYR net.

I would really like to move overseas, but I feel like the money is quite low, even for someone with my experience.

The company pays for employment pass, but no relocation package.

I understand that matching my current salary would be hard given my experience level, but 5000 gross seems really low to move across the world. My bottom line was 8000MYR net so I'm disappointed, especially given the 30% tax for the first 180 days. I'm single, mid 20s.

I'm thinking about asking 8K net minimum, but I hardly see them accepting. just wondering what people opinion are. Thank you
