Welcome to the forum Canik.

Yes you can extend at the airport for a further 29 days, simply ask the immigration officer on your arrival straight away and he/she will point you to their office. Make sure you have Pesos on you as they only accept local cash and won't have any change hope you will leave them a tip. From memory it's P 3,200 but it could have gone up, check online.

You can't access an ATM or money changer until you clear immigration so either get Pesos from your home country or simply get the 30 day visa and after a couple of weeks go to an immi office and extend there

Enjoy your holiday.

Cheers, Steve.

Steve, have you ever heard of this visa one stop shop at terminal 3 NAIA? Apparently people who arrive at NAIA can extend to 59 days and more, right at the airport.

"The Bureau of Immigration (BI) opened its new 24/7 one-stop shop office at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City on Thursday.

The office, which will primarily serve international travelers in need of visa extensions and exit clearances, is located on the NAIA Terminal 3’s third floor, in the Government Clearing Center."

First of all you can't kiss me.

Second of all if you just endured hours of flying, I suggest you do it some other time and get some rest.

Third of all, things run in slow motion in the Philippines, the red tape of extension could exceed your flying time.

No Dan, I have not extended at the airport for around 7 years as my satellite office here in SFC La union is always empty and is a 5 to 10 minute in and out but good to hear.

To Enzyte Bob yes it used to take an hour or more extending at the airport and after a long flight is really the last thing one needs but I used to do it when living in Manila as immi in Intramuros could take me 3 to 4 hours as the place is packed.

Let's hope Dans suggestion works for all.

Cheers, Steve.

@Canikissyou2859

After you are here for 20 days or so you can create account on immigration site and do first extension online.

After arriving go to your hotel or wherever you’re staying, rest and wait a couple weeks and extend online. Easy and very fast, you can do first r tension online after that you will need to go to immigration.
