Hi guys, I submitted my Portugal job seeker visa application in Shanghai VFS on 12-12-2024. But till today no update from Portugal consulate in Shanghai.

1:is there anyone who could share their job seeker visa application waiting experience?

2:could you guys advise normally how long could take to get the final decision from embassy?

3: is it job seeker visa application decision made my AIMA or by embassy?

The visa is issued by the embassy. With this visa, you travel to Portugal and after an interview at AIMA, if you are approved, you are given a residence permit. The waiting time for the visa depends on many factors. There are countries where the response is quicker and others where it is more difficult, and where there are monthly slots for visas. You just have to wait, each case is different.
