KSA Business Visa Cancellation Process

Hi,

I am currently on a business visa in KSA, which was issued from Bahrain as I was a resident there. Now my employer is offering me work visa, but for that, current business visa needs to be cancelled. From Pakistan, they are not cancelling it, I checked an old 2023 discussion here and they mentioned that it can only be cancelled from the country it was issued from, in my case it's Bahrain.

As per the process from the discussion, my sponsor will have to issue a cancellation letter and I'll have to take that to Saudi Embassy in Bahrain and they'll cancel. I just want to know has anyone recently gone through the same process and got there visa cancelled? So, I can travel to Bahrain as soon as I can.
