Medical no result. evisa expiring

I took medical exam last January and came back for follow ups on the same clinic in EHS as they see issue in my lungs.

Evisa is expiring first week of march. No results yet.

Asked the agency about this and said it is not yet processed because the doctor is on emergency leave.

I am getting anxious cause my evisa is about to expire, they suggested to cancel the evisa first and apply for a tourist visa again.

would that even be possible? as the results are not yet out.
