Hi all,

is it difficult for expats to open a bank account in Belgium ?

Which documents are required to open a bank account in Belgium ?

How long does it take to open it ?

Is there any restriction for expats regarding the services (loans for instance)  ?

Which bank would you recommend ?

Thanks in advance for your participation,

Julien

I do know that if you come from non European countries you are required to give in your ID from the commune that you live in to the bank as proof of residence, to any bank you wish to open an account.

Thanks for this tips lpieters1!;)
