Hi,

when settling in a new country, working parents are mostly concerned about finding child care services for their children.

What can you share with us about the child care system in Auckland ?

How much is daycare in Auckland ?

Is the staff qualified at these daycare centers?

What are the usual opening hours?

Do they provide other services at the daycare center?

Any daycare center in Auckland you would like to recommend to other expats? What makes them special?

I am Mrs Lakhsmi, Experienced in child care at our home,i am NZQA certified in child care. i am looking after 1 to 5 years below children. i am staying near st.lukes, Sandringham. The hourly rates are minimum can be negotiable.

Hi Armand,

There are lots of qualified daycare centres in and around Auckland. Many of them offer full time or part time options. As for fees, most will post these on their websites or you can email them to ask. You can check out this website to see a listing of daycare centres by region: http://www.childcareonline.co.nz/
