Hi all,
We have just moved into a new place and are looking to get a broadband and tv package installed.  We are not sure how long we are going to be in Malta but can't find a package at you are tied into for less than 2 years.  Has anybody had any joy finding any shorter contracts?
Any insight appreciated :)

not many are doing less than two years - although its always worth asking......they may of course charge you more if they did do it.

However why not minimize the potential cash risk and just get broadband installed then go for am IPTV package such as elteltv as that is PAYG and price wise is very reasonable

I don't know about TV as we didn't connect and don't use it. But we pay monthly for internet with GO.

We use Melita and we are fortunate that the contract just runs with our landlady so we´re not really tied to anything. Can you get Internet dongles here with Vodafone or something similar. We never looked but if you don´t use a lot it might be an option. As for TV its worth you looking into IPTV like toon army said as its pay monthly but you can end the contract when you like x

Thank you all!

Hi all,

Melita packages have become a lot cheaper during the past 2 years. Melita is aware of this and calls me every few weeks to try and talk me into signing a new 2 year contract before my old one expires. They are offering free mobile phones and free dongles as long as I sign up to a new 2 year contract with the old , much to high rate.

I don't need a free dongle and 2 free mobile phones as I already have 3 mobile phones and don't want their free dongle -))) I told the call girl from Melita to put the free dongle wherever she wants but they still keep calling.

So beware of signing a new contract with Melita before checking the terms and conditions!

Cheers and happy dongling -)))
