Family thinking of making the move to Bahrain

Post new topic

Keir & Karen

Hi all,
We are thinking of moving to Bahrain from Scotland, my husband is a property solicitor and has also worked in procurement ( mid level ). We need a recruitment company recommendation? Also what kind of monthly income should a mid level professional expect? We have 2 children 4 years and 6 months so the cost of living worries me! Any advice would be great!

Hello Keir & Karen,

Welcome to Expat.com! ;)

Concerning your question about the cost of living in Bahrain, you could have a look at the Bahrain forum.

As for the recruitement company you could post an advert in the Bahrain classifieds, job section.

Hope this will help you.

Good luck,
Rouma

Hi Karen & Keir and welcome to the forum,

I'm not really sure that the recruitment agencies are the best way to find a job here.
If you are looking into Real Estate market, I guess you might as well contact directly the Real estate Agencies to seek for an open recruitment. Most of them can be found on this site : http://www.bahrainpropertyworld.com/

If I read you correctly, when you say "partner"  it sounds like "not married". That will be an issue to get a family visa. You really want to make sure about that before moving on.

Hope this will help a little.
If you have any further question, don't hesitate...

Cheers

Olivier
