Hi,

Is it popular to share a flat or a house in Papua New Guinea?

What advice would you give to those looking for shared accommodation in Papua New Guinea?

Can you recommend specialized local websites or newspapers?

By the way, keep in mind there is a flat share/house share section in the classifieds ;)

Thank you in advance for your participation and advice!

flatshare as a concept is pretty much unheard of in png. the obvious equivalent is the wantok system where close and distant relatives help each out out sharing food, house and everything in between. in summary, png is a long long way of the concept of flat sharing. best to stick with other expats or wantoks...

Thank you for participating! :)

I'm wondering if anyone has organised a flat share blog for Papua New Guinea.
If it exists, I would like to introduce a shareable house in the best location in Port Moresby, Airvos Avenue, Tougouba Hill.
Its got 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The views are amazing,  240 degrees overlooking the yacht club and the harbour. If shared by 2 persons, it will be K225 (£40-45) per day per person. Poky single rooms in hotels are atK500 per day.
The person can be contacted on 72333 500.
