find yourself a reputable attorney who can help you navigate the system.
I found these guys to be helpful.

it s a very hard process to get a green card based in work, so you  will need help from attorneys, if needed some names ask i will tell you.\if you marry your American partner it will be a much quick and easier process. but i am no lawyer go with a pro.

The easier way is to find a job in the US first or to have your company relocate you.

This is difficult but everything else wont be easy either. I don't want to recommend to get married for the Visa but it would simplify things!

I live in Ecuador and it is a wonderful country. Its people are so kind and nice, and they will give you the most charminmg welcome. I have put together a helpful fact sheet, an aricle aboput what kind of visa is the best in your case, and also an article on Ecuadorian manners and customs

Welcome on board sara aevalo lopez, maybe you should post in the Ecuador forum ?

Yep find a job first and the company will provide you with the visa !

I have been trying to configure this too, but I don't get this - in order to get a job offer from a US organisation, one needs an employment-based visa to the US and in order to get the employment-based visa, one needs a job offer.

This looks complicated to me.

Can someone please explain it?

Attorneys are very expensive.
