Cambodia Money

Post new topic

I will be traveling to Cambodia during the Tet Holiday, this will be my first trip there. I am needing to know if I can get money from an ATM with my ACB card? The card has the Visa logo and a four digit pin. The money received what currency will it be in? Thank you for the help.

If you use an ATM in Viet Nam it will be dong.  In Cambodia it will be their currency.  In the US it will be US dollars.

@perry88?? @GoVapTeacher,You get USD out of the ATM's in Cambodia, that 4 number pin might be a problem though.

A little late in the day, but I'll ask anyways. Budman what makes you think the 4 digit pin would be an issue?

I've got a 4 digit pin on my uk account and never had any issues using it outside the uk, including here in VN.
Just wondered if this was something unique to Cambodia or something else?

My off shore accounts all have 6 digits but aside it increase the complexity for authentication I can't see what difference it would make.

cheers :)
