Hi there

Welcome to the forum, I must say everyone on here has been really helpful.

I am hoping to move to Malta in March, what sort of areas are you thinking about moving to? What sort of employment are you after?

Here are a few links that I have found useful

Have to ask what games you like? My husband and I own an XBox 360 and use it most nights, hoping to get set up on broadband in Malta asap when we get there.

I am sure others will be along shortly to help you out with other suggestions.

Hiya,

We are looking at Qawra, Bugibba and St Pauls.

Thanks for the links I have bookmarked them and will have a look tomorrow when more awake lol.

I am on xbox 360 that's one of the main things already down on my list to take, along with all my games and accessories lol. As for games I like fifa, call of duty, need for speed, f1 ... anything along them lines really.

Oh forgot work, I am looking for anything PC related or care work

SummerRaine

Yup gotta love the 360. Hubby plays Battlefield, Need for Speed etc. I play Gears of War 2&3 and Assassins Creed Revelations just now.

We are looking at Mellieha and Qawra too.

Hi Stuart,

welcome to the forum.

There are IT related jobs in Malta, many of them in website  developing /programming and data management/i-gaming. There are also many small PC shops around.

If you are a computer maintainance specialist there should be jobs available although you will be competing with a whole bunch of Maltese youngsters who were trained for IT jobs in connection with Smart City. Sadly the 2000+ promised IT jobs have not materialized.

Care work? Are you a trained carer?

You could have quite a commute from the St.Pauls Bay area if you get a job in IT as most of the companies are in the middle or south of Malta.

I wish you luck with your job search
Ricky
