Looking for a good vet near maadi

I have moved to Cairo about 4 weeks ago with family, currently living in maadi (and looking for a property to live in Maadi). I have a dog, pomeranian, 2years old. I am looking for a good vet near maadi... Does anybody know a good one that they can recommend..?

I live in Maadi and have two cats. So far, I've used and been happy with Dr. Amir Mikhail (http://www.ourpetclinic.com). However, some of my friends have reported lately that he's become very difficult to get hold of. (He does a LOT of charity work with the local animal shelters, and I hear that he's starting an animal hospital, so he's a busy man.) A friend recommended Dr. Rania instead. Her number is 010-620-5694. This friend told me that Dr. Rania is very responsive and took great care of her cat when the cat had a life-threatening infection. Both of these vets are in Maadi. Also take a look in the Maadi Messenger (a free magazine available at lots of stands and stores on Rd 9) -- there were several vets listed there, I think.

try Dr Farouk in New Maadi. He's the only vet recommended by some embassies. I've tried most vets and he's the best I've found in 3 years. competent, experienced, gentle, speaks excellent english.

Do you mean Dr. Amr Farouk in Laselky division New Maadi?
No way! Never! He stole my money, more than 3000LE, for bloodtest of my 6 cats.
He moved and changed clinic names at least twice.
He took money and did not bring the certificates.
