Hi everyone. My name is Anastasia and im planing to study my Master in Florence, Italy. It was my dream for the past 2 years, but when i started to get to know about situation in Italy deeply i realized that now its not a very great time to do it.
My questions to you guys are very simple.
Is all institutes in Italy allowing to students to work part time job?
Is it actually possible to find a part time job( in hospitality or retail as i have great experience in the both areas) and how much the compensation will be?

I dont know Italian, but i speak fluently English and Russian is my mother languages and i'm very passionate to learn Italian
I hold Bachelor degree in languages& history. And as i mentioned earlier i have experience of working for world known 5 star hotel in Dubai. And for the past 4 years i was working in luxury retail company as store in charge.

As i did my researches, the cost of living in Florence is pretty high, so i just wanted to know if there is a possibility of finding a decent room for not more then 300 euro?

Thank you for your attention,
I will be very happy to hear from you.
Anastasia.

Dear Anastasia

It is not such a terrible time to visit Florence, we have dozens of international students coming month by month here at the school - if you got a studium visa you are allowed to work part time up to 20 hrs a week. It is possible to find jobs in retails, restaurants, bar, and the usual places if you speak languages - especially from april (high season kick off after Easter)- pay is around 7- 8 euro per hour.

Nice rooms usually are around 400 per month but if you study internet sites (affitti.it) or buy "la pulce" (city magasine) you can find good choices also for 300 per month (not in the center, but the real florentines do not live in the center).

You can start with some place and then go on looking for something better and with a better price...

Best wishes
