My major is Business Administration. I have ever had a army training course. It was remarkable. Xuan Hoa will always be a secret. On my opinion, u should prepare everything is necessary without too much many by yourself. And there is an important thing that not go to Dai Lai Lake. Have a good time in Xuan Hoa

Of course, it s very difficult to find a foreigner friend.
I suggest you try some language exchange webs. And if you have a webcam, you can use video call of skype or yahoo.
If you like outdoor activities, you can take part in some NGOs (non-goverment organization) which have a lots international volunteers and many interesting workshops( in Vietnam):).
However, to understand what others say in English, you should have basic knowledge. And it depends on your purpose of learning English, you will have your own strategies.Good luck!
P/s: rượu ốc (wine-snail:P) là món gì vậy? Translating ốc = snail make anyone lose their appetile.   I am kidding.:joking:

If you want to take such international test like ielts, you will have to focus on 4 skills( read, listen, write, speak)( not easy at all).Or if you want to take toeic, which is much easier, you only need improve listening, reading skill ( about reading, it is quite similar with the university-entrance exam but even easier). Or if you just want to learn for fun( see film, read article, chat,...), you can chose other methods. I guess your purpose is the last, right? It doesn't matter what your purpose is, having basic knowledge( grammar, pronunciation,..) will help you master English quickly. About the outdoor activities, you can participate in weekend. Don't worry about "your English is not good enough to talk with foreigner", you can chose text- chat or exchange messages. I could suggest other sources if you wanted :dumbom::lol:.anything else, send me a message
