Hi all,

I have heard from Kurdish media that 200000 Kurds currently live in Israel is that true? Does any one know if there's a Kurdish community in Israel?

LazB

Very true. They live mostly in Jerusalem- nahlaot, katamonim neighborhoods have many Kurdish synagogues. There are also agricultural communities of Kurdish Jews- Yardena, bet Yosef, Rechov, tel teomim in the bet shean valley. There are big Kurdish saharane celebrations every sukkot.
