Hi everybody!
Does anyone can help me! I m coming to Thailand at the end of April for 2 weeks and I would like to know if it s a good period (rain) to visit the country.
Apparently on the website the weather in Thailand will not be convenient for my holidays and also I saw on tv the tsunami alert!
Could you please tell me if I have a good reason to not travel this time.
thank you so much,
Ms Hind from Paris

No problems with Tsunami - Thailand is big and only the West coast area (Phuket, Ranong, Satun has potential threads of Tsunami's - like once every few hundred years.

Rain on the coast area this time of the year are short bursts of heavy rain and then mostly not raining.  Will be somewhat cloudy on most days; but in this heat it will be rather welcoming.  don't forget sunburn protection.

Better time to come since most people are 'rain season scared' - so you will get better prices and little bit less people.
