rizwan2000

My wife got a job at PNU. I am looking for a good school nearby for my daughter who is 5 yrs old. Pls suggest, also advise the fees idea if possible.
Also when does the new session starts. I will be coming in August 2012

Airport is at least 20km out of city and of course no schools closeby :)
The nearest one is Manarat which is on Exit#8. 8-10 km from PNU. Whare will you live exactly?

thnx for the answer. we were provided a furnished accomodation within pnu. also advise the facilities provided in furnished house enabling me to plan what to bring from home.

what is the fees of Minarat

Guys

There are several schools near (under 15 km) your residence.

1. Rowad
2. Minarat
3. Multinational

They all cater to different groups of students with different needs, range between 20k and 45k per year. Search them online and you will find their website addresses.

I suggest you check them out yourself. If you need my opinion, I'd go for Rowad if I didn't have other options. My kids do not study at any of these schools.

Rowad has been known for a balanced Islamic & modern curriculum. They follow IGCSE curriculum.

Rizwan Sb,

Once you landed to Riyadh you would have many options for school.
Just keep in mind that speed and road accidents are very high in Riyadh/Saudi Arabai.

I would suggest you should evaluate schools once you landed here and check cost factor and distance.

Most of the good school and expensive school between 8 and 7. Like
British School
American School
Multinational School (Australian School)
Manarat

My children are goin in Multinational School, and I think somehow you may not satisfied with same kind of school because of we have paksitani background and we value to money and education.

here they have different method of teaching and sometime we feel that they are not doing upto mark.

the other thing is where GCC Arabic population mix school, you may find there GCC dominance and our kids may be victum. (I could be wrong) and i do not have any solid evidance in which i could support it. but this is what I normally heared from different parents.

Again this is your own decission based on
Quality of Education
Money
distance

Thanks,
Kamran

Kamran,

thanks for such a detailed and useful analysis. I will definately keep all the 3 points while selecting a school.
