This depends on your lifestyle and standards of living:

If you are willing to share accommodation, cook your own lunch, share a transport with a friend or a colleague... you will save almost half what you make.

If you want to rent your own studio, possibly (if you have family members with you, 1 bedroom), you want to rent your own car/ get a car loan, you want to go out and treat your self daily... then it is probably not enough...

AED 10,00 Per month can be enough at same time can be nothing ..depend on ur style of living, single, married..... you need to be more specific wth ur details so i can give u some facts but if u want to have a one bed room flat in Dubai it will cost u around 40-50 k per year depend on location

I am a bachelor and no plans of marriage for two years.I have been recruited by an Indian consulting firm and have to work @ client location as ITIL Consultant.First gulf bank in abu dhabi..arrangements from the company at first are air travel to abu dhabi, 15 days accomodation till the time I see my own there..rest you please guide me how should I look about expenditure and savings..I am guy who doesnt freak around much ..no alchohol..

Ok .... u can save alot fo money ...U can look for shared accomodation where u can pay max 1,500 per month but if want to rent a one bed room flat u will not find less than AED 4,000 per month.

Other than that no major cost, there is a private taxi which is little costly and public buses cost u AED 1only take u to all places in abu dhabi 24 hours
