Hi all,

i will be moving to Beijing real soon (July) and most the clients are located in Chaoyang and 1 of them is in HaiDian district. im thinking of a place within Chaoyang- 4th Ring area so its easier for me to travel to another district.

Any suggestion? many thanks in advance!

Hi and welcome to the forum Sabrina!

I would suggest you to post an advert in the Beijing housing section.
It should help!

thanx! i was told by the local not to totally trust what i see on the website and most advice me to go take the subway and check out myself..the surrounding..the community.. before deciding it...

hope this will b a good tip to those moving to BJ too.. :)

Hi Sabrina,

Hope the house search is going okay.

The Beijinger's house listing can be helpful sometimes, most of the ads now are posted by agencies but those are the ones that have some English speaking agents and you can get lucky with finding some who are very helpful.

The tip you were given is very true. Best way to discover Beijing and the area you want to settle in is to go around yourself and explore. Chaoyang is a very big area and there are many smaller neighbourhoods and districts within the main Chaoyang district!

Good luck on the search!
