Opportunity to work in Jeddah

Hi I'm a 48yr male from Canada I have and have an oportunity to work in Jeddah at King Faisal Specialist Hospital as a paramedic. I'm excited and nervous about the prospect of moving half way around the world to work. Can anyone tell me about working and living in Jeddah.

hi dean..... king faisal hospital regarded as one of the best hospitlas in terms of quality of service and packages so from my point of view they will offer a very good package and housing plus u will find Canadians here in jeddah so u wont feel loonley

You will be working at KFH which is one of the best medical facilities in Jeddah.

In terms of living, life would not be very happening socially. You would be better off if you relocate with your family (wife&Kids) here. That would make things interesting. And over time you will get to meet like minded people from work as well as where you will be living. Life in Jeddah is a bit laid back. Otherwise it has great places to spend your weekend e.g. malls, restaurants, beaches etc.

I will be moving there alone,Although I do have a friend and she is applying for a job in Riyadh. Hoping we can get together. I know it will be an adjustment. Wjat do you mean socially no fun
