my ID card experience

Recently I went to the ID card office to get a replacement/renewal because I moved AND my old one was expired.  as usual I got rejected saying they needed more info from expat affairs office.  so I went across the street, for a pint ( not a surprise) Durring my Pint I saw the guy who rejected me get into his car and leave (presumably for the day or lunch doesn't matter) so I tested a theory...  "Nobody really knows the rules".

I went back in with my same green form (already signed by the grumpy police officer), stood in line and handed it to a different teller and walked out with my new ID card :)

I hope the new system is better than the old one, BUT I know most of the governments IT staff so I don't have a lot of hope.

Have a great day all sorry for not keeping in better touch, remember when it comes to politics, take a chance, a crazy idea in this place just might work.
