Hi. My wife just got a new role and the family consisting of my son, 4 years old, daughter 10 months old and a toy poodle would be relocating to Beijing in October 2012. Wife's office would be at Wangjin. Our relocation are being handled by Santa Fe. We have been brought around Beijing last week during our first orientation week and would be back again for another one week in August to confirm the schools and apartments.

We are rather interested to sent our son to Ivy Academy located at East Lake Villa and am thinking of taking a 3 rooms apartment at Seasons Park although we have not seen any yet? Going to do that in August. Any advice on this apartment or alternative that we can consider.

Any suggestions too on our choice of school. So far, of the few we have seen, we liked the Ivy Academy and the YCIS. Comments from 3E located at Lido is also positive. If we do decide to stay at Lido which I believe is nearer to Wangjin, any good reasonable apartment should we consider. Budget around RMB15000 to RMB17000.

Any form of advice or tips would be great as this is the first time we are living outside our country. Thanks.

Wilson
