Can my partner visit me in Saudi?

Post new topic

I have recently arrived in Jeddah and I am missing my partner immensely, we are not married is there anyway around this?
Can I get her in with a work Visa?
She has qualifications linked to the area I work in and is happy to work here, is this possible?

There is NO way around this. You need a marriage contract validated by the Saudi Embassy in that country where the certificate was issued, and you need to inviter her on a family visit visa (3 months, can be extended up to 5) - if your professional status allows you to sponsor a family member.

A woman without 'mahram' male guardian, cannot whatsoever enter saudi arabia, except if she is a muslim coming on a hajj or umra visit together with a group of females.

Work visa is not given to single females, except by certain type of companies, e.g. schools, but the nationality, age and qualifications of the female play a role in her application being approved by ministry of foreign affairs.

Secondly, I don't know if you fully comprehend that if you are found in the company of a non-related female, you will be either jailed, get lashed publicly and certainly, you will be expelled and put on a black list.

If you are working in Saudi, I suggest you to get informed about local law. You could end up in serious trouble my friend.

Why don't you marry her?
