Hello all. So we were supposed to be in Dalian at the end of July but now it's looking more like en of August. I know I've asked some questions about general things and those of u that have responded I thank you very much for taking the time to get back to me. Now my question is how many of you have young kids out there? We're comin over with my 2 1/2 yr old son and my 1 yr old daughter and would love for them to make friends as soon as possible in our new home. And if any of you have suggestions on parks or anything geared towards the kids let me know. We're open to any and all suggestions! Thank you.

Welcome to Dalian! I have 20 month old son as well. take a look at places like Labour Park or Xinghai park - but they are not really kid friendly.

Which part of town will you be staying in?

Hi crocus. We've just arrived in dalian. We've been there too for our initial visits and we didn't think they were very kid friendly too. Unless u like to fly kites. Let me know if you've found anything. Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. Life has been crazy.

Welcome to dalian....the outdoors are not going to matter pretty soon now that winter is coming. I ended up choosing an apartment complex called eastern san Jose near the software park. It has a few amenities for kids like a decent play area and kids gym.
