I am from UE country but UK employment agancy demands from me theProof

of that I am really in UE and don't need any work permit for working in UK.

I have send them a CV without a photo because that is how UK professional CV should look like (I read it somwhere).

is this legal ? where are the equal laws for whole UE citizens ?

to add I say that agency requires a scan of passport and/or photo or an ID. they are demanding this data from me without firstly even introduce any job to me....

i realise this post is old. but just to clarify - whether you are from the EU or not (that includes being from the UK as well) you need to be able to prove it by either a passport, or an EU ID card. or a permanent residency somewhere in the European Union. If you can't prove it then they will assume or just another immigrant from somewhere in the 3rd world. It's a standard practice.
