New to Jeddah....

Hello everyone,

im due to move to Jeddah within the next few weeks and was wondering if you could give me some advice on some of the following please: -

1) is there much of a social life for expats, im going to be living in an apartment not a compound..

2) is there gym and fitness facilities and are you able to go running or cycling etc?

3) what do you wear in non work time when floating around Jeddah?

4) what would you recommend wearing for travelling? do chill out bottoms / sporty long bottoms grey cause offence or is this ok?

5) what is the internet and mobile networks like

6) can you go around the shopping malls etc without drawing attention etc?

7) what is the driving like - i get a car however heard horror stories on the quality of local driving skills

8) what is the best beach hotel club for out of work activitites?
