I don't know how much someone in your field should get paid in Bahrain but in general, the package you are offered is not bad. It is not perfect either. If you don't spend excessive amounts of money every month, you should be able to live comfortably. However, you can always negotiate. Almost every time the company increases the offer after negotiation however there is always the risk of company withdrawing the offer. How about your allowances such as accommodation, transport, health insurance etc.?

i received a job offer from bahrain as factory worker and the name of the company is sitra meat factory, my basic salary is 120BD. Do you think it is a good offer to work as factory worker. The agency told me that all the expenses will be provided by the employer.

Hi Jazz, personally I think its too low but based on education, qualifications and experience they think they may well be paying well??

A full time live in nanny/maid gets about 180 b.d with visa paid for but that does not inc her food.

Just take into consideration that agencies will always pay you less salary as they find you the job, do pay for visa plus you are bound to a contract for 2 years.

All the best and good luck in your new venture.

Thank you 3roses, many applicants refuse to accept the offer, but for me why not give a try since 120bd is only the basic pay. The employer will provide meal allowance, i'm just hoping that there is overtime and incentives.

Dear jazz_min80,

i would strongly recommend you to read the employment agreement and make sure that the overtime and incentives are included in writing and not verbally communicated.

Good luck!

See my reply in the other thread in which you posted.  Also please read the pinned thread (at the top with the little yellowish pushpin icon next to it) about it being safe here.  While a year old, the same things are still true.

Nawafo

It's totally safe, safer than most of the countries in the world and there was never ISIS presence or activities in Bahrain.

Yes it is totally safe to work in Bahrain and the crime rates are really low so u dont have to worry about gettin robbed but never let u r guard down.

150bd/month will be enough or not it depends on how u spend u r money but still i think it will not be enough
