If company made the decision to employ you the will provide you employment letter, you can take that letter to Immigration then you will get the work permit.
Or the company would do that for you, depends.
Be-aware that some companies ask you to pay them for whatever reason that is a red flag and means they are not genuine company.

First rule:

You do not involve with a agent that he promise you the immigration work permit.
DO NOT PAY ANY MONEY TO AGENT.

Company promising you a job you just not take their word for it/research if there is a said company
If it is real or fake.

Not easy to find a job/and you can not fix or arrange all these just posting a message on expat.

This info is so important you consider yourself to receive this message.

Good luck

Agree big red flag if you have to pay. It's a complicated se of paperwork and best if company does it.

Another red flag is min salary of 5,000 rm per month for EP. A few companies do cheat by submitting a fake contract saying 5k and then pay 3k. This is blatant fraud and the expat worker is also committing fraud.

And btw as you are under 27 you can't get a EP (properly unless IT). What you may get is one if the "internship" type of permits for working in a hotel as I note that's what you are studying. They will pay less than 5k for sure and that is legal. What you will have though is hard work but can be worth it for someone wanting to work in the tourist industry!

1.    Submit your CV, upload and waiting hopefully some companies hire you
2.    You could also apply as ‘internship” program. Indeed, the pay is low, however, you will have opportunities to “expand” and develop your network around. Once you are in Malaysia, it would be much easier for you to go for interview, visit the companies, etc..
How to be “networked” and to do this?
Firstly, get the RIGHT placement for internship (eg: companies that offer networking activities, marketing activities, etc..)

there are many Chambers of Commerces in Malaysia that organized casual and private functions (eg: Talk, super networking, “tourist” activities, etc..). Participate, expose your self to the attendees, display your professionalism, etc…  Usually, if these chambers / associations organized some activities/ functions.. the people that attended would almost be the same (eg: Marketing Director/ HOD), so you could always be in touch with them

All the best..
