Where should we choose?

Hello,

My husband and two children (currently aged 5 and 7) and myself want to move to Thailand in 2014.

Any ideas on where is a good place to start researching?  We would like a good international school for the kids, to be near the beach, and to live in a safe environment.

Thankyou!

hi :)

I think the international school in bangkok are better than in other towns. In pattaya, there's some international school but Pattaya isn't a place for kids. so why don't you live in bangkok and travel a few hours to the beach :) ?

oh welcome to thailand! (in advance :) )

Hello,

There are numbers of international schools in town and I am confident that you will find a good school for your kids. I would suggest for you to be in town as it is not far away to beaches anyway. Pattaya is only a 2 and half hour drive. Short drive for a weekend get away.

Here are the suggested schools with their website.
Bangkok Patana School   http://www.patana.ac.th/
St.Andrews Sukhumvit 71 http://www.standrews.ac.th
St.Andrews Sathorn  http://www.standrewssathorn.com/
New International School of Bankok (NIST) http://www.nist.ac.th/default.aspx
International School of Bangkok (ISB) http://www.isb.ac.th/

You can schedule school visit with them once you and your family arrives.
Hope this helps.

All the best for your move.
