To South African's in Scotland. I'm in need of SA cooking dinner ideas

Hi there,
I'm from East London, South Africa. I now live in Scotland and I'm terrible for dinner idea's. My hubby brings Scottish dinners to the table and me... I've got no idea of what to cook, He gets a bit annoyed because he would like a break for a change in coming up with different ideas for dinner every night.

So.. I thought it would be lovely if I had some lovely taste ideas of South African food that I can make over here with using every day ingredients in the shops here. And it's a change for me and my little family to get a taste of both Scottish food and South African. I've tried buying recipe books but they are all Cape Town or Johannesburg way cuisine and its hard to know a good alternative if there is a food I don't like to eat.

So all ideas are appreciated and welcome! thanks
